My name is Suzanne Grenier, the owner of

I started this website because I felt that it was important to promote the many choices of gardening, especially in this day and age.

Not that long ago, most people tended their own gardens that provided them with all the veggies they needed. But as the months and years passed, we saw a continued migration toward the cities... with small lots hardly suitable for a garden.

And then the many grocery stores appeared that provided us with all the food that families needed. People started relying on this convenience and started to live without their own food system.

But then, the economy downslide was upon us. People are finding it harder and harder to make ends meet and are now looking for a more satisfying solution to feed their family with fresh healthy food at a price they can afford.

At this moment in time, I feel it is important to make known the many choices of gardening, be it a backyard garden, or a balcony garden, or even a small indoor garden.

The choices are varied, and it is my wish that my site help you find the right kind of gardening, one that will suit your natural inclination, one that you can be comfortable with, one that will awaken in you the urge to start your own garden... and grow your own food.
